The Hoverfly Hummingbird

Description

Hoverfly hummingbird art: A small green hummingbird with a long thin bill and a fanned tail hangs among flowers, a spiral at its side.

Hoverfly hummingbird art from Avian Relics

The Hoverfly Hummingbird is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Hoverfly Hummingbird

A small green hummingbird with a long thin bill and a fanned tail hangs among flowers, a spiral at its side. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
