The Heron of the Spoked Wheel

Description

Spoked wheel heron art: A heron with a bowed green neck stands before a delicate spoked nautilus, orange mushroom-like blooms rising on tall stems.

Spoked wheel heron art from Avian Relics

The Heron of the Spoked Wheel is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Heron of the Spoked Wheel

A heron with a bowed green neck stands before a delicate spoked nautilus, orange mushroom-like blooms rising on tall stems. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
