The Butterfly Ballerina

Description

The butterfly ballerina dancer art: A dancer on pointe with blue butterfly wings veined in orange, a skirt of glass petals around her.

The butterfly ballerina dancer art from The Architecture of Motion

The Butterfly Ballerina is part of The Architecture of Motion, a Decorative Studios collection of liquid-metal dancers caught mid-turn in flowing gowns, lit by amber and teal light over a mirrored floor. Chrome skin, translucent fabric and rays of light on a reflective floor make each figure look frozen in the middle of a spin.

About The Butterfly Ballerina

A dancer on pointe with blue butterfly wings veined in orange, a skirt of glass petals around her. The sweeping fabric and the glow along the floor give the piece movement even though it is perfectly still. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
