The Rainbow Sweep

Description

The rainbow sweep dancer art: Streaks of pale cream, gold and blue sweep over her head as the dancer arches, one arm reaching out.

The rainbow sweep dancer art from The Architecture of Motion

The Rainbow Sweep is part of The Architecture of Motion, a Decorative Studios collection of liquid-metal dancers caught mid-turn in flowing gowns, lit by amber and teal light over a mirrored floor. Chrome skin, translucent fabric and rays of light on a reflective floor make each figure look frozen in the middle of a spin.

About The Rainbow Sweep

Streaks of pale cream, gold and blue sweep over her head as the dancer arches, one arm reaching out. The sweeping fabric and the glow along the floor give the piece movement even though it is perfectly still. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Rainbow Sweep Works

Hang it in a living room where the colors can pick up the lamps and furniture around it, or group it with other pieces from the same collection for a gallery wall.
