The Torrent Skirt

Description

The torrent skirt dancer art: A dancer leans into a rushing torrent of cream-colored lines, sparks of orange flying off her hands.

The torrent skirt dancer art from The Architecture of Motion

The Torrent Skirt is part of The Architecture of Motion, a Decorative Studios collection of liquid-metal dancers caught mid-turn in flowing gowns, lit by amber and teal light over a mirrored floor. Chrome skin, translucent fabric and rays of light on a reflective floor make each figure look frozen in the middle of a spin.

About The Torrent Skirt

A dancer leans into a rushing torrent of cream-colored lines, sparks of orange flying off her hands. The sweeping fabric and the glow along the floor give the piece movement even though it is perfectly still. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
