An original millefleurs tapestry, woven in 100% cotton.
A white unicorn lies couchant in a thousand-flower field, head turned back over its shoulder. Foxglove, wild rose, fern and hawthorn in ivory and gold on a deep indigo ground. A fox moves through the blooms; a hare rests among them. No sky, no horizon — the flowers run to every edge, the way the Flemish weavers made them.
This is a new design in an old language. Not a reproduction, not a scan of an antique.
