The Crested Jay

Description

Crested jay art: A crested jay with a spotted blue wing stands in front of a big coil of green and orange gears and shell.

Crested jay art from Avian Relics

The Crested Jay is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Crested Jay

A crested jay with a spotted blue wing stands in front of a big coil of green and orange gears and shell. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Crested Jay Works

Hang it in a living room where the colors can pick up the lamps and furniture around it, or group it with other pieces from the same collection for a gallery wall.
