The Ibis of the Lily Pond

Description

Lily pond ibis art: A curved-bill ibis stands on a flowered islet of shells and water lilies, a green spiral turning behind it.

Lily pond ibis art from Avian Relics

The Ibis of the Lily Pond is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Ibis of the Lily Pond

A curved-bill ibis stands on a flowered islet of shells and water lilies, a green spiral turning behind it. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
