The Stair Heron

Description

Stair heron art: A long-necked heron with a gear in its wing stands in a mass of teal feathers, a pale stair rising behind.

Stair heron art from Avian Relics

The Stair Heron is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Stair Heron

A long-necked heron with a gear in its wing stands in a mass of teal feathers, a pale stair rising behind. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Stair Heron Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
