The Scarlet Ibis of the Reeds

Description

Scarlet ibis reeds art: A scarlet ibis with green-tipped wings stands among reeds and a pale flower, its long bill curved down.

Scarlet ibis reeds art from Avian Relics

The Scarlet Ibis of the Reeds is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Scarlet Ibis of the Reeds

A scarlet ibis with green-tipped wings stands among reeds and a pale flower, its long bill curved down. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
