The Fan Tail Heron

Description

Fan tail heron art: A heron with a crest of dotted feathers and a long bill stands in a fan of teal and cream plumes.

Fan tail heron art from Avian Relics

The Fan Tail Heron is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Fan Tail Heron

A heron with a crest of dotted feathers and a long bill stands in a fan of teal and cream plumes. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
