Wings of Amber Glass

Description

Wings of amber glass dancer art: Two big butterfly wings with amber edges rise behind a dancer in a clear gown, standing on one leg.

Wings of amber glass dancer art from The Architecture of Motion

Wings of Amber Glass is part of The Architecture of Motion, a Decorative Studios collection of liquid-metal dancers caught mid-turn in flowing gowns, lit by amber and teal light over a mirrored floor. Chrome skin, translucent fabric and rays of light on a reflective floor make each figure look frozen in the middle of a spin.

About Wings of Amber Glass

Two big butterfly wings with amber edges rise behind a dancer in a clear gown, standing on one leg. The sweeping fabric and the glow along the floor give the piece movement even though it is perfectly still. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where Wings of Amber Glass Works
