Black swan spin dancer art from The Architecture of Motion

Black Swan Spin is part of The Architecture of Motion, a Decorative Studios collection of liquid-metal dancers caught mid-turn in flowing gowns, lit by amber and teal light over a mirrored floor. Chrome skin, translucent fabric and rays of light on a reflective floor make each figure look frozen in the middle of a spin.

About Black Swan Spin

A dark gleaming figure with one leg bent whirls in a pale spiraling skirt, droplets of silver at her head. The sweeping fabric and the glow along the floor give the piece movement even though it is perfectly still. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where Black Swan Spin Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
