The Jay of the Brass Shell

Description

Brass shell jay art: A small blue jay with spotted wings stands before a brass-ringed nautilus, red blossoms and fine drips falling.

Brass shell jay art from Avian Relics

The Jay of the Brass Shell is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Jay of the Brass Shell

A small blue jay with spotted wings stands before a brass-ringed nautilus, red blossoms and fine drips falling. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Jay of the Brass Shell Works
