The Clockwork Heron

Description

Clockwork heron art: A heron with a gear-covered back and long orange legs stands before a ribbed pearl disc and a cloak of teal feathers.

Clockwork heron art from Avian Relics

The Clockwork Heron is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Clockwork Heron

A heron with a gear-covered back and long orange legs stands before a ribbed pearl disc and a cloak of teal feathers. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
