The Crested Woodpecker

Description

Crested woodpecker art: A woodpecker with a ruffled orange crest, a long dark bill, a spotted blue wing and a cream chest, among orange flowers.

Crested woodpecker art from Wings of the Amber Canopy

The Crested Woodpecker is part of Wings of the Amber Canopy, a Decorative Studios collection of birds made from stained glass and mosaic tiles, each one posed in profile against a soft blur of warm blossoms. Jewel-toned tiles, glowing amber light and patterned feathers give every bird the look of a window caught in sunlight.

About The Crested Woodpecker

A woodpecker with a ruffled orange crest, a long dark bill, a spotted blue wing and a cream chest, among orange flowers. The mosaic tile texture and the warm amber glow are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Crested Woodpecker Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
