The Embracing Pair

Description

Embracing pair heron art: Two birds lean together over a pale shell, their feathers and necks curving in a single shape.

Embracing pair heron art from Avian Relics

The Embracing Pair is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Embracing Pair

Two birds lean together over a pale shell, their feathers and necks curving in a single shape. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Embracing Pair Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
