The Pelican in Profile

Description

Profile pelican art: A pelican with a very long orange bill and a patterned crest, its body in cream, blue and orange tiles.

Profile pelican art from Wings of the Amber Canopy

The Pelican in Profile is part of Wings of the Amber Canopy, a Decorative Studios collection of birds made from stained glass and mosaic tiles, each one posed in profile against a soft blur of warm blossoms. Jewel-toned tiles, glowing amber light and patterned feathers give every bird the look of a window caught in sunlight.

About The Pelican in Profile

A pelican with a very long orange bill and a patterned crest, its body in cream, blue and orange tiles. The mosaic tile texture and the warm amber glow are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Pelican in Profile Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
