The Seated Cocoon

Description

Seated cocoon portrait art: A seated figure wrapped in a cocoon-like coat.

Seated cocoon portrait art from Luminous Exiles

The Seated Cocoon is part of Luminous Exiles, a Decorative Studios collection of fantasy figures in hoods, headdresses and sweeping gowns of streaming gold, teal and copper threads, standing by moody lakes and shores. Fine lines of light fall from every garment into the water, against stormy skies and soft blurred landscapes.

About The Seated Cocoon

A seated figure wrapped in a cocoon-like coat. The streaming threads of gold and teal and the stormy lakeside settings are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Seated Cocoon Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
