The Spider Fly

Description

Spider fly art: A big fly with red-banded wings and long spider legs carries a tiny town on its back, and a smaller fly beneath.

Spider fly art from Brass Reliquary

The Spider Fly is part of Brass Reliquary, a Decorative Studios collection of surreal brass-and-copper creatures, cyborg portraits and clockwork sculptures in a warm golden palette. Gears, goggles, gas masks, glass domes and tiny cities grow out of faces and bodies, so every piece feels like a strange relic from an invented world.

About The Spider Fly

A big fly with red-banded wings and long spider legs carries a tiny town on its back, and a smaller fly beneath. The brass and copper surfaces, the surreal mechanical details and the golden light are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
