The Staircase Pheasant

Description

Staircase pheasant art: A long-tailed bird with a feather fan walks past a pale stair and a tiny door built into a giant shell.

Staircase pheasant art from Avian Relics

The Staircase Pheasant is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Staircase Pheasant

A long-tailed bird with a feather fan walks past a pale stair and a tiny door built into a giant shell. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Staircase Pheasant Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
