The Window to the Cathedral

Description

Window to the cathedral art: A woman looks into an oval mirror that reflects a gothic cathedral, the mirror sitting on a stone goblet in a shallow lake.

Window to the cathedral art from Brass Reliquary

The Window to the Cathedral is part of Brass Reliquary, a Decorative Studios collection of surreal brass-and-copper creatures, cyborg portraits and clockwork sculptures in a warm golden palette. Gears, goggles, gas masks, glass domes and tiny cities grow out of faces and bodies, so every piece feels like a strange relic from an invented world.

About The Window to the Cathedral

A woman looks into an oval mirror that reflects a gothic cathedral, the mirror sitting on a stone goblet in a shallow lake. The brass and copper surfaces, the surreal mechanical details and the golden light are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
