The Wire Wound Figure

Description

Wire wound figure portrait art: A skeletal figure bound in a tangle of fine wire and cable.

Wire wound figure portrait art from Mechanical Dreams

The Wire Wound Figure is part of Mechanical Dreams, a Decorative Studios collection of surreal bronze, copper and brass portraits where faces, machines, motorcycles, skulls and tiny cities merge. Gears, visors, shells and ribbed armor grow out of faces and figures in a warm, sculptural palette.

About The Wire Wound Figure

A skeletal figure bound in a tangle of fine wire and cable. The polished brass detail and the fusion of face and machine are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Wire Wound Figure Works

Hang it in a living room where the colors can pick up the lamps and furniture around it, or group it with other pieces from the same collection for a gallery wall.
