The Reclining Rider

Description

Reclining rider art: A man lounges in a ribbed white and copper sidecar shell on a motorcycle, a huge sail-like fin rising behind him.

Reclining rider art from Brass Reliquary

The Reclining Rider is part of Brass Reliquary, a Decorative Studios collection of surreal brass-and-copper creatures, cyborg portraits and clockwork sculptures in a warm golden palette. Gears, goggles, gas masks, glass domes and tiny cities grow out of faces and bodies, so every piece feels like a strange relic from an invented world.

About The Reclining Rider

A man lounges in a ribbed white and copper sidecar shell on a motorcycle, a huge sail-like fin rising behind him. The brass and copper surfaces, the surreal mechanical details and the golden light are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Reclining Rider Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
