The Banded Jay

Description

Banded wing jay art: A jay with a white face, a crest of blue mosaic and a barred wing of blue, black and cream, perched on a branch of pale flowers.

Banded wing jay art from Wings of the Amber Canopy

The Banded Jay is part of Wings of the Amber Canopy, a Decorative Studios collection of birds made from stained glass and mosaic tiles, each one posed in profile against a soft blur of warm blossoms. Jewel-toned tiles, glowing amber light and patterned feathers give every bird the look of a window caught in sunlight.

About The Banded Jay

A jay with a white face, a crest of blue mosaic and a barred wing of blue, black and cream, perched on a branch of pale flowers. The mosaic tile texture and the warm amber glow are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
