The Curl Tail Heron

Description

Curl tail heron art: A heron with a long pink bill and a speckled blue wing stands on a pale wave that curls up into a ringed green tail.

Curl tail heron art from Avian Relics

The Curl Tail Heron is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Curl Tail Heron

A heron with a long pink bill and a speckled blue wing stands on a pale wave that curls up into a ringed green tail. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Curl Tail Heron Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
