The Duck in the Orchids

Description

Orchid duck art: A duck with an orange bill and dark green head, among cream orchids and bamboo, its body in swirling orange and cream mosaic.

Orchid duck art from Wings of the Amber Canopy

The Duck in the Orchids is part of Wings of the Amber Canopy, a Decorative Studios collection of birds made from stained glass and mosaic tiles, each one posed in profile against a soft blur of warm blossoms. Jewel-toned tiles, glowing amber light and patterned feathers give every bird the look of a window caught in sunlight.

About The Duck in the Orchids

A duck with an orange bill and dark green head, among cream orchids and bamboo, its body in swirling orange and cream mosaic. The mosaic tile texture and the warm amber glow are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Duck in the Orchids Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
