The Perched Hummingbird

Description

Perched hummingbird art: A green hummingbird with an orange breast and long thin bill perches over a spray of coral flowers and fine vines.

Perched hummingbird art from Avian Relics

The Perched Hummingbird is part of Avian Relics, a Decorative Studios collection of birds fused with nautilus shells, spirals, gears and pearls, standing in still reflective water in a palette of teal, jade and coral. Feathers turn into spiral shells and brass clockwork, and every bird is doubled in the mirror of the water below it.

About The Perched Hummingbird

A green hummingbird with an orange breast and long thin bill perches over a spray of coral flowers and fine vines. The spiral shell forms and the glassy teal water are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a landscape frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Perched Hummingbird Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
