The Pompadour Machine

Description

Pompadour machine art: A skeletal robot with a spray of fine silver bristles on its head stands on a spring, with a steaming brass tank on its back.

Pompadour machine art from Brass Reliquary

The Pompadour Machine is part of Brass Reliquary, a Decorative Studios collection of surreal brass-and-copper creatures, cyborg portraits and clockwork sculptures in a warm golden palette. Gears, goggles, gas masks, glass domes and tiny cities grow out of faces and bodies, so every piece feels like a strange relic from an invented world.

About The Pompadour Machine

A skeletal robot with a spray of fine silver bristles on its head stands on a spring, with a steaming brass tank on its back. The brass and copper surfaces, the surreal mechanical details and the golden light are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
