The Heron of the Scaled Wing

Description

Scaled wing heron art: A heron with a long orange bill, a blue-capped head, white plumes and a wing of cream, blue and orange scales.

Scaled wing heron art from Wings of the Amber Canopy

The Heron of the Scaled Wing is part of Wings of the Amber Canopy, a Decorative Studios collection of birds made from stained glass and mosaic tiles, each one posed in profile against a soft blur of warm blossoms. Jewel-toned tiles, glowing amber light and patterned feathers give every bird the look of a window caught in sunlight.

About The Heron of the Scaled Wing

A heron with a long orange bill, a blue-capped head, white plumes and a wing of cream, blue and orange scales. The mosaic tile texture and the warm amber glow are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
