The Lifted Knee Fairy

Description

The lifted knee fairy dancer art: A fairy with sparkling wings lifts one knee, her long gown pouring down in dark teal and copper strands.

The lifted knee fairy dancer art from The Architecture of Motion

The Lifted Knee Fairy is part of The Architecture of Motion, a Decorative Studios collection of liquid-metal dancers caught mid-turn in flowing gowns, lit by amber and teal light over a mirrored floor. Chrome skin, translucent fabric and rays of light on a reflective floor make each figure look frozen in the middle of a spin.

About The Lifted Knee Fairy

A fairy with sparkling wings lifts one knee, her long gown pouring down in dark teal and copper strands. The sweeping fabric and the glow along the floor give the piece movement even though it is perfectly still. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.

Where The Lifted Knee Fairy Works

It suits a bedroom or reading nook, where its detail rewards a slow look from across the room and again up close.
