The Mandarin Duck

Description

Mandarin duck art: A duck with a golden eye, a long wing-shaped crest and a chest of green and gold beads and scales, with a flat grey bill.

Mandarin duck art from Wings of the Amber Canopy

The Mandarin Duck is part of Wings of the Amber Canopy, a Decorative Studios collection of birds made from stained glass and mosaic tiles, each one posed in profile against a soft blur of warm blossoms. Jewel-toned tiles, glowing amber light and patterned feathers give every bird the look of a window caught in sunlight.

About The Mandarin Duck

A duck with a golden eye, a long wing-shaped crest and a chest of green and gold beads and scales, with a flat grey bill. The mosaic tile texture and the warm amber glow are the signature of this collection. Every detail is rendered in a portrait frame, so the whole composition reads clearly whether you print it large or view it on a screen.
